Rotary District 5680 and 5710 are pleased to announce that we are recipients of multiple Leadership Transformation Grants through the Kansas Leadership Center (KLC). The KLC is providing Rotarians the opportunity to attend one (or both) of their Leadership seminars:

When Everyone Leads
Your Leadership Edge

The grants cover the cost of tuition for these two programs. Any current Rotarian from District 5680 or District 5710 can apply for one of the Leadership Transformation Grants.

About the Kansas Leadership Center

The Kansas Leadership Center is supported by the Kansas Health Foundation. Located in Wichita, the KLC works with a variety of community organizations across the state of Kansas – equipping members of those organizations to manage themselves, problem solve, and mobilize others in order to create positive and lasting change in their communities. The KLC uses a three stage path to Leadership Development. Rotarians can enroll in the first two KLC Seminars.

If you are new to the KLC, start with When Everyone Leads. KLC describes this seminar as below:

Leadership is an activity, not a position. Everyone can lead. And when we see and seize our moments to lead, we make more progress on our most important challenges. Based on KLC’s bestselling book, When Everyone Leads, this six-hour course makes leadership radically accessible and inclusive, unleashing capacity for collective leadership in teams, organizations, coalitions and communities.

Once you have completed When Everyone Leads, it is time for you to attend Your Leadership Edge. KLC describes Your Leadership Edge as this:

Your Leadership Edge is the foundational training that introduces core concepts in KLC’s powerful leadership framework. Discover new ways to communicate, solve problems and lead more effectively back in your context. Sharpen interpersonal skills, self-awareness and confidence with others. Your Leadership Edge helps you find, test and push to the edge of your comfort zone.

These seminars are appropriate for all Rotarians. The Leadership Transformation Grant is a value-added opportunity that Rotary is offering to its members.
